Goodbye Barcelona….

Barcelona…….. Not sure who was more excited to see Leon, Ella because she missed him, mummy because she missed his help Or Mum and Kate because they needed a well earned break from mummy and the girls. In the end I have decided that Ella was the most excited to see her Dad. After 3-4 days of asking to see Dad he finally arrived.

By chance we arrived in Barcelona on a Saturday – less traffic total fluke. Still plenty of stress, we got so close only to be stopped by a one way street. We could actually see our building. We arrive and collapse… but we survived.

The previous night was spent in the Costa Brava region. Where we saw Pals, and our first glimpse at the Mediterranean coast. Amazing.

We have had three full days of sightseeing. The people have been great, the subway is great, the food is nice and our accommodation is unreal. Barcelona you have been so good to us. We are sad to say goodbye but excited to continue this adventure ours.

PS The girls are still a huge hit. People jump to get out of seats, help lift the giant double pram up stairs and smile and laugh when Abbie is staring at them. She has quite a stare.

Next time we blog we will be in Getxo. Yes right over the other side do Spain. Apparently us Aussies love to travel.

Love from Ella, Ab, Amy and Leon.

Great seeing all the photos …you all look like you are having a great time???
Someone described driving in Barcelona as diabolical but luckily you arrived there on a Sat whilst all the Spaniards were in church and not trying to kill innocent tourists on the roads.
Enjoy … it will be even better, possibly humorous when you get home …you and us will love all the stories especially the ones where things don’t go quite right. Keep the blogging happening we are loving it …lots of love Maree and Rob.

Thanks for the Barcelano update. Look forward to the pics. Lovely one of Abbie.
Good Friday here. No local Sations of the Cross so joined the ecumenical crowd which goes from St Kevins at Dee Why down to Dee Why beach. The ocean view is so lovely when you come to the end of fhe street past all the home units. A great reviver. Cool then hot then cool….cloudy with bursts of sun.

    Happy Easter to you all.

    Love Trish

    Hey Guys,

Really enjoying your posts and having a look at Google Maps to follow your travels. It’s a shame about the weather that you guys have been having over there. We have seen on the news about how much snow there has been across Europe.

It sounds like the girls are enjoying their trip.

We have booked our flights and are starting to get really excited about our trip. We have decided to pop down to Barcelona for a couple of nights after hearing that you guys were going there.

Looks like you guys are staying at some different places off the main track.

Looking forward to catching up with you guys when you get home to here more about your travels.

It is Easter Sunday night back home. Rachael and I wish you a happy Easter.

Keep safe on our travels and say hi to everyone for us.

    Rohan & Rach
